"RBL58" up in ZK355 (BS116) @ 1124L. Seen inbound for initials @ 1244L, break & land 1248L
ZK379 "REBEL055" [from adsb] heard manoeuvring over the Fylde at 25kft+ (1138L).
Handoff to Swanwick 1145L (270.05).
Pair of typhoons seen on climbout @ 1634L (yet another late afternoon sortie). On right side of "Tarnish Combine"'was ZK303 (BT017). Lead was WTN10 (ZK355/BS116?) plus WTN29 in BT017.
Both seen off Lytham 1722L downwind for pairs ILS 25. "WTN10" overshoot, "WTN29" T/g (1728L) & joined visual. "WTN10" then extended upwind after t/g? (1730L); "WTN29" took lead after both rejoined downwind, "WTN29" then landing 1735L & "WTN10" further overshoots; single seat 41 TES marked jet noted on climbout 1737L climbing to 10kft in the overhead. Flew W>E over Lytham 1738/1740L. "WTN10" then initials, break & land @ 1745L!

Met up with Martin from Oldbury after a splendid lunch at Dizzy
Ducks went down to Warton and parked on the mound.
Taking nothing away from martins splendid description of the rotation of the
pair of Typhoons other than to say to stand on the mound and be subjected
to the pairs takeoff with 4 EJ 200 engines on full military power is a joy to
behold, if you like that sort of thing.
When the pair of Typhoons returned to Warton we had a pairs approach
and GH in the Warton overhead as previously described by Martin G.
