Tarnish 69 landed 1457L (seen low on App 07 u/c down@ 1456L). Also a few runs W>E towards airfield for 10 mins prior to this.

Another Hawk i/b SRA07 T2 ZK027? (1501L) plus T/gs?

Also pair dev Typhoons up 1050L "Fighter" + "Tgt" (WTN29 + WTN10?). Not on ADSB. See sorties flown on 28/3. BS116 (Fighter?) + BS117 (Target?) noted out on 358H apron am so these were up.

Has a Silkway 747 just landed at Warton or is it heading to Blackpool? Spotted it heading in on FR24 but it shown the destination as Blackpool but I wasn’t sure.

I live near Blackpool Airport, and was excited to see the Silkway 747 was going to land there... Until I saw it was at 0 ft over Warton Aerodrome. I was suprised, as I didn't think Blackpool was long enough for the 747. Shame

First Hawk fuselage loaded 1405L. Also 2 wingsets seen being loaded, 4 engines (bagged) and numerous pallets, possibly some crates with fins and tailplanes.
Second Hawk fuselage appeared from 4H and crawled to southside @ 1420z to cargo apron south of rwy for loading.
Both Hawk fuselages without any obvious id. as expected. ST039 & ST040 out today??
Update: B747-4H6F VP-BCR (ex Malaysian A/L 9M-MPR) "AZG5832" dep 25 @ 1705L. OTT "toe" of Italy (well further up "foot" but not as far as "heel" so maybe the "ball" of Italy :-) @ 1946BST en route Dhahran. Coasting out over Red Sea 2201BST @ FL390. Arrived Dhahran @ 2348BST.

16:14 - Fighter Dep with Target closely followed behind (around 2 mins after) - presumably ZK303 (BT017/AX) & ZK355/ZK356 (BS116/BS117)

Twin seat typhoon (BT17) seen on climbout 25 @ 1623L ("Fighter 1" which sounded like WTN69) following a single seat dev typhoon @ 1615L ("Fighter 2" flown by WTN10). No "Target" callsign heard.
F1 (believed to be in BT017) landed 1730L after 2 overshoots and climbout to nth (heard 1709L/1716L) plus a t&go 1727L. F2 (BS116 or 117) seen over Lytham on c/out to NW (M.Bay area) @ 1718L after go round. Initials 1729L and further overshoots (go arounds) 1734L/1737L & landed 1739L after 146 G-TYPH had arrived back
Yet another late afternoon soiree....
