Sat in Liverpool waiting for this to go overhead, thought ADSB has glitched when it shown it has landed in Crosby!

26/03/19 CS003 swansong

ZE114 (ex703/753) T/O 25 @ 1032z "WTN09" with gy 2250lit tanks fitted u/w. Presume a ferry shakedown pre ferry back to you know where.
[Hexcode 710261].
Appear to spend some time at 27000ft orbiting/loitering over N.Wales MTA (just west Machynllech @ 1144z...perhaps doing a med alt version of the "Mach loop" ! :-)). This was after a period of time heading NW also at FL270 (west Stranraer just off coast @ 1050z).
On RTB did 2 SRAs rwy 25 first one asymmetric with L/H burner lit on low overshoot @ 1324z; second one a wings swept (67 deg) approach and low overshoot @ 1331z. Looked odd in this config with u/c down and 2250lit tanks u/wing.
Then 2 t&gs 1333/1336z; followed by a low "beat up" @ 1338z burners in wings fully swept again followed by a tonka version of a lightning zoom climb...disappearing into cloud. Then back around wings swept for another flythro' this time with a "wing waggle" (1340z). Finally landed
1343z; CS3 last flew 24th Jan this year.
Presume CS6 is still being airfreighted out as per last years discussion on this forum. Most likely on the An124 (?) arriving next month.
Cheers

Tarnish 9 is backtracking down the runway with airbrakes open to let the photographers get some pictures of him.

Sounds like he put on a bit of a show. Hoping to see some good pics.

On a side note, there doesn’t seem to have been much typhoon activity lately.

It was certainly worthwhile travelling from The Wirral today, I enjoyed
hearing the RB 199s being revved up to a crescendo before Andy released
the brakes and commenced his take off roll.

I left and went for breakfast at Dizzy Ducks where I met up with a senior
navigator who was Tarnish 9s instructor in his RAF days on 20 and other
Squadrons.

At Lunchtime I returned to BAE Sports Field on bank lane this offered
a better view of Tarnish 9s outstanding aerial Ballet as previously described
