What an eventful week so far, the arrival of IPA 2 mid week the test flying of various marks of hawks 2 Saudi hawks and yesterday Tarnish 69 piloted primer Typhoon in a stupendous reheat rotation, I've left out the various serials as they can be seen in Current Military Photography posted by some of our residents photographers.

Only if the resident photographers post them. At time of posting, Warton photographs in Current Military Photography relating to May 2016 = ZERO
Serials please - and in the future.

Thanks, Trevor.
It helps tremendously for those of us who wish to keep track, but can't be there to see the action.
I see that Mickey has now posted pictures for yesterday.

IPA6 / ZJ938 took off 12:48 in dry power.
A camou Gazelle landed a few minutes earlier (sorry no id as no binos) - it parked on the cross runway.
Closer to the cargo slot (occupied by one of the regular RSAF C-130s) was Typhoon IPA5 (ZJ700) - identifiable by the Escan logo on the fin.
Hopefully one or other of the regular photographers will have got pics of the movements. (A nice day weatherwise at Fylde's Fightertown).

Info from one of our local correspondents the delivery flights of two R.S.A.F Hawk Jet Trainers serials given as
ZB 103 & ZB 105 was halted when one of the hawks developed a fault and both returned to Warton
it is hoped that the fault can be rectified quickly for the delivery to continue on Wednesday morning'.
The R.S.A.F C130 Hercules 473 was the only other movement at Warton noted by this particular correspondent.
On a personal note I'm still waiting for Tarnish 5 to commence his display in the Typhoon for the coming Farnborough and R.I.A.T.

The only other movement of note for 7th was mid afternoon; primer-finished Hawk ZB108 (RSAF) departed for a test flight but returned immediately, thus ending flying for the day.

Its been quite an interesting day at Warton today, we had two reheat rotations of Typhoons both flown by The Chief, Tarnish 69 the first was ZK 358
and just after 6.0pm a shake down by a R.S.A.F Typhoon coded 8013 again by Tarnish 69.
Earlier in the afternoon The Italian Typhoon IPA 2 landed and ran the course of runway 25 after a failed deployment of the chute.

Log for Thursday the 9th, June, 2016, I'm surmising that as the Royal Saudi Air force C 130 (473) arrived at Warton at 10.00am on Tuesday the 7th it may well leave at a similar time so be prepared to come early.
