I was wondering if Test Pilots were mere mortals like the rest of us and would they be huddled around a TV monitor this afternoon, if this was the case will Wartons Test Flying be AM or even later
than the usual 3pm/4pm start.

On a more postive theme England won last night beating the Old Enemy in a 50 over match 1 down
four more to go.

On a further link to aviation and cricket I wonder if Bill OVAL, MAY (Peter) be flying the VC 10 Today.

in my earlier log I brought the forums attention to Tornado appearance at Preston. on Sunday 15th
August,2010 there is an Excursion from Preston leaving at 08.45am to The Wolverton Railway Works
Open day returning at 2015pm the train will be hauled by a Class 92 Electric, fares are £27.50pm Standard & £52.50p First Class. I promise the Moderators this will be only an occasional lapse from the MIlitary Aircraft Theme.

We see The Saudi Typhoon Deliveries from Warton, below is a link to their arrival in Malta and there subsequent departures. The thumbnails have a number of other interesting videos of Saudi Typhoons and Tornados. My special thanks to the guys in Malta, I wonder if they read or are members of Fighter Control " The World Best Military Forum".

Log for Wed 30-6.10 Cont.

Today has been an I.P.A. Day

First we had Typhoon IPA 6 ZJ 938 out on a sortie this morning.

in the afternoon we first had IPA 5 ZJ 700 reheat rotation followed almost
immediately by IPA 1 ZJ 699 this was a dry rotation. on there RTB about an
hour later we were treated to some nice flying by the two bosses.

Yesterday I reported what I thought was a VC 10 but nobody has comfirmed
the report, however a MRA4 coded A is parked nose in on case white, whether
it was towed across from 358 or it had already flown a sortie only time will tell.
