How busy is an average day?

Planning a trip up next week, likely to be the last time for me before the bases closes, how busy is an average day for movements?

Not sure if it was above or below average, but on Tuesday there were ten Tucanos on the line, of which five flew.

EGVP has it about right. My experience is that if there are 10 on the line, all will usually be flown, or have already been flown. Sometimes one or two frames are swapped between the line and hangars. On some days you might also catch up to 5 UAS Grobs.

Not to mention the visitors-recently we've had Typhoons ,Tornados and F35s,not to mention the Irish P6s.However nothing is guaranteed,apart from the Tucs-they do make for good practise photographing prop aircraft though.

Many thanks for all your replies, went today and it's been reasonably busy all day..6 or 7 Tucarnos on the line all of own at least once and some two or three times.
