I know its probably a long shot but any serials for the ones so far? I'd like to include it in the Highlights - not needed but would be grand if possible!
Cheers

We might have a problem regarding serials, the only identifiable difference between the aircraft is the team number, they do not visably wear serials :O

They do wear serials. Cockpit window frame on the left side, under the front cockpit. Format is T-50B-xx-xxxx.

Fair enough, only found one image where its visable, and even the only slightly! Impossible to see unless your stood next to the aircraft!

Point taken! Some photos they seem to be glossy white, others are dull grey. At least people will be able to get up-close and personal to photograph and ID them at shows :) Just hope the codes don't change between shows!

We're due all 10 anyway so TBH does it really matter which one is which! we'd have seen them all!

Apologies if I have missed any previous threads or details but does that mean that the team will initially be based / rehearsing at Leeming before moving on to the various airshows that they are due to be attending?

Regards,
Ken.

There are 10 aircraft in the team, there are (I think) 11 T-50Bs in existence :)

For those that are Interested the serials of the Black Eagles T-50B's are 10-051,10-052.10-053,10-054,10-055,10-056.10-057,10-058,10-059 & 10-060 (Info taken from Mach III's World Air Forces Directory 2011/12). I am assuming the codes tie up with the serials thus 10-051 is 1 & 10-052 is 2 etc. From photos I have found on the internet the codes are painted in black on a yellow background on the engine intakes.

The codes and serials don't tie up, and they have been known to swap them around like the Thunderbirds do :(
