Hawks had been heard to start departing at 0810.

Harrier x 2 outof Teesside gap to the east. 1020 & 1040.
VC10 x 2 overhead-- one going SW at 1040. one going NE at 1056.
No other movements--no Hawks seen--bottles laid out on what would be Hawk line. so???
It was suggested that the Hawks departed elsewhere due to base personel were deployed to Catterick
for the taking part in crash exercise. Civil & Military coming together in the air exercise.
so home at the 6 mile post in the afternoon }-
Heard. Lynx x 2 AAC 968 & 958. may have been in/out Leeming.
