I was at Leeming today from 1215 to 1315 and noted the following choppers:

2 x Wildcats. ZZ389 and ZZ523 arrived c. 1300.
2 x Apache. One left at c.1245.
3 x Chinook. (2 arrived with the Wildcats)
3 x Pumas. Two coded "X" and "E" arrived c. 1240

I believe some or all of the choppers were here in the morning and the 2 Wildcats and 2 Chinooks may have gone to Spadedeam.

A Hawk T.2 from Valley also arrived.

Any serials for missing a/c.?

Are you sure it was a Valley Hawk T2 - as ZB131 (based Qatari AF Hawk) was out flying?

The Valley T2 was ZK023 and arrived and departed as Ninja03. Qatar T2 ZB131 only did One sortie all day.

Noted this afternoon, Chinooks ZA680 & ZH899 present at 1340ish, 1 Apache, 2 Puma (one coded E), Chinook ZH896 arrived with ZH897 arriving not to far behind. All Above parked on the cross runway, both above Wildcats mentioned above parked adjacent former 25 Sqn HAS site. Also noted ZK023 Hawk T2, and two Civie registered yellow coloured T67s, Qatari Hawk ZB131 flying with 133 visible inside the hangar. UAS Tutor G-BYWA also flew, Apache noted arriving circa 1615 as I was leaving. Any help with the two Apaches greatfully received

All useful info thanks. There were a lot of people with very long lenses so I'm a bit surprised Apache and Chinook serials not captured.

The third puma present from about 10:30 till departed mid pm as "Ambush 66" was coded N.
AH-64 "gunship2" was listed on adsb as zj221

Photo confirmation of one Apache as ZJ221 which left Leeming about 1245 leaving the other behind. The 3 Pumas were XW231 "N", XW213 "E" and ZJ955 "X". There were only 3 Chinooks earlier - believed to be ZH899, ZA680 and ZH897.

Can I please ask what time Valley T2 arrived?

Their were 3 Chinooks operating out of Leeming yesterday, with One arriving from Odiham late afternoon and departing after a hot refuel. The Four I saw were ZA680, ZH896, ZH897, ZH899.

Tonight ZA680 was sat on the old taxiway ZH897 went North to Spadeadam/Otterburn as SHF397 after 6pm
ZH896 was the hot refuel visitor yesterday and looks like ZH899 went South earlier today.
An Apache [ZJ221] and Puma were at HAS 12
Wildcats ZZ389 and ZZ523 were further North in the HAS site but still easily readable

Update Monday evening
Wildcat ZZ524 arrived earlier as Carbon 10 parked in old 25 Sqn HAS area
Two Chinooks on old taxiway, Mk5 ZH899 and Mk.6 ZA680
Puma behind the Northern HAS complex.
On the Hawk ramp all T.1s apart from a plain black tail T.2, possibly Qatari

Monday 2000ish

Typhoon 117 did at least one low approach from the south tonight.
Was plotting on ADSB and FR-24 as 43C791 (ZK363).

My SBS had ZZ523(43C764) as Carbon 10 and ZZ524(43C765) as Carbon 09, both between 1630-1730. Did they swap callsigns during their mission?

3 Pumas.
3 Chinnook.

8x 100 sqn Hawks.
No Qatari ones.

Two Apaches North out of Leeming 18:50 bst displayed as ZJ197 Machete 1 43C257, ZJ230 Machete 2 43C279
19:00 bst Wildcats ZZ389 Carbon 51, ZZ523 Carbon 52 all Northbound to Spadeadam/Otterburn area

Two Chinooks Mk.5s on ground should be ZH897 and ZH899 plus two Puma's and a Wildcat (ZZ524 ?) all lights on 19:30 bst

The two Puma''s out next 19:50 bst as Ambush Flt, XW231 as Ambush 61 lead with Chinooks in trail, Titan 41 not sure about c/s for the second but presumably Titan 42 given ZA680 is operating in Morpeth area as Titan 43

Wildcat still running and presumed joined but too dark by then to see - all to the North

The apaches departed to the south at 2334 - not sure if they returned?

Machete 1&2 rtb'd Wattisham once complete, Carbon 52 didn't make the exercise sadly, the package arrived twice with 2 pumas and 2 chinooks here in the Scottish Borders.
