Re: Hawks
The airfield has been NOTAM'ed closed since Monday , 22nd and re-opened again at 09:00 this morning and a single Hawk departed around 09:40 .
The closure could be due to the ongoing UNITE/Babcock strike action involving their staff who work on 100 Squadron ?

Re: Hawks
Not true - well maybe some truth, but the Reds flew back from Valley today.
Re: Hawks
Not the case at all, that is not how you operate and manage aircraft. If they're airworthy, they'll fly them, if not (and that's not been the case at all) they would be grounded by the Engineering authority so they wouldn't be able to fly them anyway. They're a little more professional than a dodgy flying club!

Agent K, I posted second hand information, which is why I used the word ‘apparently’, as I myself wasn’t certain if it was genuine or not. This time the info actually proved to be wrong.
Nobody else had replied to the original poster at the time, so I decided it was worth saying something, despite that now being incorrect.
