The two Apaches arriving earlier were pinging as ZJ169 VIPER1and ZJ210 VIPER2, the third one is currently pinging as ZJ195 VIPER3. Confirmation of the serials would be nice, if safe to do so, would be good as at least one them (ZJ169) is incorrect as it's currently in Mesa, AZ

Two of the Chinooks have been pinging as ZK563 LIFTER1 and ZK553 ???

Kip

I'd take all of the serials with a massive pinch of salt, they all need Mark 1 eyeball confirmation!
This season, I'll be mostly wearing........A THONG!

No idea on the Serials at the moment, any One able to confirm callsigns for the Chinooks. Noted what sounded like Shifter & Sheriff being used. Lifter & Vortex or correct.

Shifter was noted last week for a Chinook here at Bournemouth so could be correct

Had Two Apaches calling viper 1 & 2 following the River Tyne near Hexham West bound earlier with no Navigation lights on heading for Spadeadam. Their was also a single Helicopter flew West bound along the river at Dusk, no idea if the Puma's or still around the North East.

I think there are only 3 Apaches? So unless somebody reads them...

The 3 x Chinooks I believe are ZK550, ZK551 & ZK553

Had Viper1 & 2 along the River Tyne, & have also had Vendetta1 & 2 also. Are they the same pair?. It appears at least One of the Puma's has also been along the river at Dusk.

ZJ213 and ZJ226 are Viper 1 & 2 read off Mk1 eyeball.

This would mean 213 is also mis-pinging as ZJ210 on occasions...

Widget01,
Just out of interest, what makes you say it's a transponder miscode, not an aircraft trackers data file error. Was it that 43C267 was actually received?
