Unfortunately for obvious reasons my trip was cancelled - but have the Hornets turned up?

Don't think they are due until middlle/end of next week, with the Ex to start on the 23rd?
That's if they are still coming of course.

Finally some official confirmation.

https://www.facebook.com/45253829823901 ... 953375499/

For those not on Faceache:
There will be increased air movement for an exercise taking place from RAF Leeming from 24 Nov to 18 December 2020.
The Station will be hosting a detachment of Swiss aircraft throughout that period. Low flying for short periods may be necessary, along with exercising at night.
We understand our responsibility as good neighbours to inform the local community of such events that are additional to our normal flying activities and every effort will be made to keep the disturbance to a minimum.
The RAF Leeming Viewing area is closed. An update will be made on 2 Dec 20 in adherence to Government guidelines. Currently individuals should only travel if their journey is deemed essential.

For YorkNite 2019 I think first departures back home were around 9am on the last Friday of the exercise? Does anyone know if sorties were flown on the day before, or was the final Thursday a rest/debrief day?
Thanks!
Mark
