Typhoons
Re: Typhoons
So I lied! I have info and here is what I have...
Info from Don Lang states that 10 (TEN) Typhoons have arrived at Leeming in the last hour...apparently someone in the car park was telling people that some Typhoons were due for next week...unfortunately they are RAF examples!!
They are currently parked on the Northern taxi-way in front of the ex QRA HAS's...no idea if they are staying overnight...has there been an incident at Coningsby this afternoon? They are all currently being refuelled, Don says he didn't know that Leeming had that many refuelling bowsers!
The lucky numbers are
(ZK381)/EX
(ZJ801)/BJ
(ZK304)/FM
(ZK320)/BR
(ZJ814)/BH
(ZK331)/BT
(ZK379)/BB
(ZK382)/BG
(ZJ806)/BE
(ZK325)/FK
Don supplied the codes, I have tied these up from ADQ+ and the Coningsby Fighter Control page
Regards
Paul G

Re: Typhoons
Approx 8 went out this morning - one went tech and returned to pan before take off two of its wing men remained on taxi way until another jet was ready - nice to have a bit of font line jet activity back at the base!
