cg-y radar is showing Razer 22 as dep Leeming - 2 seat Typhoon ZJ802 out over the North sea & Tartan 22 - ZZ332 is about to pass over Leeming at FL260 .

Hi all

Approx 8.30-45 4xrafales and 4x tiffies departed

The 1st Rafale did a zoom climb - was nice! Took my kids even they got excited!

All just returned to base in 4 X 2 ships

As predicted went up late

Again just a guess but I would imagine a mid afternoon sortie and a mid to late sortie - base open 1030- 2100

Ahh i saw this French aircraft, was it white? I saw it circling near the base before it landed. I presume it did land?

Yes it was, I took a photo but I don't have my camera on me today.

Socata TBM-700A 125/XO , c/s COTAM 3818 landed around 12:30 . Arrived for the media day briefing but nothing at all in the local press so far !

I was at leeming Tues 19 from about 2.30pm. People already there said that only a few Hawks had been out in the morning. Things got busy from about 3.40pm to 4.15pm with 5 typhoons, the four Rafales and a number of Hawks all launching. Rafales went up at 16.02 and as mentioned rtb with a 4 ship approach and break to land at 5.21pm.

Not been around today but noted a sortie departing around 8.45 and returning 9.50 pm usual crowd!

Arrived at 10 and it seems they were already out. X2 just landed along with x2 Phoons.

Couple of Hawks went out just after 10.

Brillant many thanks for info did you take any serials at all? I saw four fast jets heading North this morning was certain two were Rafales, two Typhoons thanks again

Hi 'Youth' - reports suggest the four (two and two) did a round robin between Leeming and Yeovilton earlier this morning.

Like many that saw them during their high altitude transit, the serials of the two French would be extremely welcome.

That's Correct and all 4 went out on the afternoon sortie with ZJ802 ZJ919 ZJ932
