P-3C 161333 is being picked up on SBS over the Glasgow area so may well be on its way back.

\when I was there on Friday a chap at the viewing area said the French had scrubbed this Ex as the assets were needed elewhere

and it looks as though he is right with no sign of them showing up and the mission briefings were supposedly on Sunday

so in essence only 2 Joint Warrior aircraft at Leeming (based)

French are planning to arrive at lunchtime tomorrow. A 2nd US P3 may also appear later in the week.

The CP-140 Aurora 140101 is up from Leeming, just gone over Northallerton heading West in the climb...tracking on PP, GOTAAAAA in callsign box...

Anyone no of any support due for the french?

Atlantique has been reported by Don Lang and Ian Mazza as No13...might be lucky for some (Like me:-))

CP-140 just asked for engine start and is using the callsign 7DJ.

Departed at 1455.

Typical :@ , I was there from 8.30 & left at 14.30 with the only movements being Hawk's & the arrival of the Atlantique .

The CP-140 dep Leeming yesterday at 15.03 & called up Leeming Approach at 20.57 so he was only out for 6 hours .

P.S I was told something big had left Leeming early this morning before I arrived at 8.30 , any body know anything about this ?? .
Yesterday afternoon we had a RAF C-17 do 3 touch & go's so it may have been in again ? .

USN P-3C was noted on SBS over the west coast around about 0500 so would assume it will return late morning to early afternoon.

1st of all i hope the last part of your mesage was not aimed at me. 2nd, the post at 106pm only tells me that 1x Atlantique was there not an id, i no is number 13, but just woderd if it had a serial number.

13 is the serial number. Check MAM they are numbered from 1 upwards.
