taken from the Volcanex thread and posted to the JW142, credit the other Paul, CAF C-130 130334 has just landed at Leeming, the USN 164994 has left and the car park gates are shut....finally when I was over there the USN C-130 was parked on the main ASP, the Aurora and the P-3 are on the Northern taxiwayclose to HAS20, which was partially open...and the AAC Apache that departed as AAC443 was showing on my SBS as ZJ168...

And no sign of the French or any others yet...if they are coming!

regards

I must be going round the twist but have not seen a Canadian Airforce C130 at Leeming today
I spent 99% of the day at the sewarage works and the joint warrior traffic I have seen today was the following

US Navy P-3 (161333) arrived Leeming 11.46am

Canadian Air Force Aurora (140101) arrived Leeming 11.57am

US Navy C130 (164994) arrived at Leeming 2.14pm departed 3.38pm

I really must go see a Doctor if a Canadian Herc Landed between 8.45am and 1550hrs at RAF Leeming

Aygee wrote:Not sure if it's anything to do with this exercise but there has been some noisy aircraft movement south and east of Leeming this afternoon. I eventually managed to see the aircraft involved but not clearly - there was one large 2 engined plane being escorted by 4 much smaller planes, last seen heading north probably over Northallerton.

Forgot to add - does anyone know what the aircraft might have been? Not that my description helps particularly!

I was there until 10.50 this morning. Nothing moved except for a few Hawks and no French.

Is there any indication as to what frequency will be allocated to Hunter Ops for the MPA players?

Many thanks,

Dinger.

Just to add Guys, yesterday all that flew were Hawks and a Puma..and that was it!.
I'm think that maybe yesterday was a classroom day or maybe the weather played a part in it.

From what I can make out, the USN P3C departed on a mission around 0230 so it may be back around noon or there after. The P8 departed Teesside around 0920 and is more than likely heading out to replace the P3 on station.
