Re: Increased aircraft activity
Did anyone note ZK438 today please ?
It was displaying Southbound descending over Tees mouth around lunchtime today as Typhoon 302.
I appreciate that the mode S I.d.''s for Typhoons are most unreliable given the number of box swaps hence the reliance on first hand reports where available
Thanks and regards,
Paul

Re: Increased aircraft activity
Hi all,
Will be travelling past Leeming on Tuesday afternoon and am hoping to stop by for a few hours and catch the Typhoons launching. Can anyone advise if the spectators car park has been open whilst the exercise has been taking place?
Many thanks !

Its gonna rain, its gonna rain till the levee breaks, a tidal wave of fear and pain washes us away, another fight into the night until nothing else remains, how do we find harbour from the Hurricane?

Re: Increased aircraft activity
Any flying today?
Re: Increased aircraft activity
We had 2 through the valley today, around 12.35, and another 2 at Selkirk shortly after, who declined a trip through the valley, probably because of the rain and snow showers. 2 I can confirm were ZK435 and 437.

Re: Increased aircraft activity
Thinking of heading to Leeming on Monday next week, but no real reports for this week as yet! Any info much appreciated, or any knowledge of no flying etc for Monday 9th would be very helpful.
Thanks, Andy
Thanks, Andy

Car park open today but very little activity while I was there from 1230-1500. Only Typhoon seen was ZK424.
