C130 Low over the lakes this afternoon

My son just started at Ambleside uni, and saw a distant C130 (couldnt tell from his photos if it was RAF but suspect so) very low over one of the lakes

Didnt see it myself but if anyone can ID it, it would be nice to tell him what it was
