Tucano (Sword 1&2) ETA 13:00L ETD 19:00L ETA 19:45L (ZF448 & ZF264 Arrived 14:04L - also on ground was ZF343)
BBMF (Dak,Spit&Hurri) ETA 19:25L (after display)
Wildcat HMA2 (Black01) ETA 14:00L (ZZ519/Black01 arrived around 14:25L)
RV4 (Fireflies x2) ETA 14:00L, ETD 19:35L ETA 20:25L

Did the T-33 (CT-133) arr just before 0830L today? Heard a distictive whistling jet noise over the rooftops of Lytham around that time....maybe imagining it? ;-)

T-33’s at Hawarden for the weekend, being looked after by the Strikemaster team I presume.

Thanks H., so I was imagining it...I was still in bed in a semi-conscious state....(excuses excuses)..can't win them all I guess. Maybe go to Lake Fairhaven and see it displaying from opposite side of Ribble estuary...lens struggling for decent images though..;-)

Does anyone please know when the Swedish historic flight leave? I’ll be up that area from Tuesday afternoon till Thursday & would love to see the Viggen!

Did the T-33 fly today? It did not fly when it was supposed to ie 3.51pm.
Is it actually over here? If so, any idea when/if it will fly tomorrow?

T33 did display today a bit earlier than 3.50 I think. Operating from hawarden. Tomorrow on schedule at 4.07pm. may change as today there was changes.

Viggen used reverse thrust on landing rollout rwy 28 yesterday (Sat) after initials run & break, but used aero braking when arriving fri on a straight in ILS (?) Approach. Also used reverse thrust after a long finals straight in approach to rwy 28 on sun.
Tunnan did a run & break along rwy 31 inadvertently before doing another along rwy 28 and landing on 28. On sun came straight in on a long finals to 28 abit more sedate than sat.
Viggen seen over Ribble estuary on climbout @ 1558L after departure to SE.
Tunnan seen on climbout @ 1615L but appeared to be heading more south.
T-33 must have gone up before the Swedes today as per yesterday. The Strikemaster pair displayed after The Blades and before the tiffy (which of course ended the show), over the original T-33 slot at 1607L.

The Tunnan wasn't that far behind the Viggen, and shortly after that was the Citation support jet. I assume they went down to Jersey for the airshow towards the end of the week

They did indeed arrive at Jersey.

The Swedish AF Historic Flt are regular attendees down there so wondered if that was where they were heading. Was G280 M-ISTY the "support jet"? didnt realise they used one. didnt arrive on fri if it was.

Support aircraft is OY-JEV - Cessna 550 Citation II.
Recent purchase by SwAFHF - immaculate inside.
Flew down to Bournemouth then onto Jersey.

Thanks All I stand corrected. Pity the ex Canadian AF T-33 was operating from Hawarden but nice to see the Swedish contingent. I was told by a close friend who regularly attends the Jersey show, that the Tunnan has to use its brake chute at Jersey airport (plus draken at previous shows there). Obviously not required at Blackpool!
Also I noticed the "Blackcats" Wildcat csign "Black 1" departed Sun pm after its display.
