Draken L-159 ALCAs - Teesside Airport
Draken Europe has announced its intention to base L-159s at Teesside Airport alongside the Falcon 20s. Obviously these are all ex-Czech Air Force and will presumably be used on UK defence contracts.
Some details here: https://drakeneurope.aero/jobs under L-159 Captain.

Details of the 3-year interim competition are at the link below. Hopefully the UK's NGOT programme will deliver something more threat representative for 2025/26 onwards!

First one ( may be two of them?) N159EM I'm informed has reached Greenland today. DTV Movements report that the first two are expected tomorrow

Re: Draken L-159 ALCAs - Teesside Airport
Good Evening
Would anyone please have any indication of when the next ones are due for delivery ?
Not sure if they are needing or intend to field all eight a/c in time for start of contract on July 1st.
Thanks and regards,
Paul

Re: Draken L-159 ALCAs - Teesside Airport
One report says 4 aircraft and another says 8 so we will have to wait and see what transpires. At least we get reasonable warning that they are in transit.Evergreen 44 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 17, 2022 6:55 pmGood Evening

From what I have read, the remaining four aircraft are to be delivered by the end of the year (N256EM, N259EM, N269EM and N277EM)
