Re: Christine Damaged by Car
Person on another site said it was a lady driver who lost control whilst texting. Harrier will now sport a Renault kill marking, luckily enough the lady wasn't too hurt.

I'm very concerned, regardless of blame it's gonna be hard to find Harrier spares these days!Nighthawke wrote: ↑Sat Jun 30, 2018 3:43 pmUnbelievable lack of concern regardless of the alleged cause of the collision - which hadn't been posted until after yours.

From the photo, it looks more like she drove into the 'bomb' on the wing hard point rather than the fuselage.
Re: Christine Damaged by Car
Glad that the driver seems to have only sustained minor injuries, lucky on 2 points 1) what if she'd hit either another road user 2) Hit pedestrians or 3) Hit an HGV or something more substantial.
Makes me so angry that people think they can drive along glued to hand-held phones. I was almost rear ended the other day by a woman looking at her phone not noticing I was stopped at a level crossing.
I got out to check if she'd actually bumped into me (I released the handbrake & rolled forward to give a few metres extra space) & was rewarded with a mouthful of expletives.
When I pointed out the error of her ways & went back to the car to pick up my phone she promptly through a U-Turn & screamed off.
Hopefully Christine isn't too hurt either & is repaired soon.
