Typhoon at Wittering

Nipped to the pond on camp this morning to do a little tidying up and had the pleasure of a Typhoon in the circuit!

After going round four or five times he finished with a flourish and stood it on its tail up to 2000 feet and left for Coningsby, GREAT STUFF!

Typhoon at Wittering...? This will only be another excuse for a 1 squadron reforming, train of thought. Seriously though seems strange one wandered over there, maybe he was an old Wittering boy?
