Thinking of heading down on Monday

Thinking of heading down to Waddo on Monday to see if I can see the RC-135 flying.

Is it airborne often (or at all?) and are there any movements planned?

If not - any alternative ideas?

As far as I know it has not been flying since delivery and the last I heard was "it will be a while before we see it flying " Might be worth looking on the thread for its delivery or waiting for one of the more regulars to respond. John from the WAVE will probably know if there is something to know and I'm sure he will pop up in due course. Hope to see it myself at some point soon.

Can't remember where I saw it....but a week after it arrived, somebody with 'good intel' reported on the Forums it "would likely not fly again until into the New Year!"
Best sort yourself a 'Plan B' ?

It shall remain in the Sentry hangar for two weeks and shall then be on the Sentry parking bay until christmas, then moved inside.
Rivet Joint shall not take to the air this year and one estimate is 2 months, another is 5 months before she will be flown.
