You Merlin could of been Rapier 21 because a Merlin has gone over the top of Coningsby with that call sign hope that helps.

Hi all

At 1400L saw a Merlin heading to Waddo... Was very high and could not tell if it was Navy/RAF or whether it was landing or going OTT?? Could of been to Donna?


Does anyone have any info?? Or a serial?

If he was heading north this one was "Vortex 299" I believe. He was working Humberside Airport heading north at this time. Unfortunately no serial tie-up as Merlins don`t normally show on SBS boxes. The one using the "Rapier" callsign was working Coningsby heading south circa 16:30.

Just out of Grimsby Hospital ......Had a Merlin on the grass outside my window on Friday 16th....if i can get the pictures off my phone i'll try work out a serial number for it
