I was talking to someone at the WAVE last Wednesday who seemed fairly knowledgeable, reckons that the Israelis might be back for CW 23/2 in September?

I have also heard Indians and Israelis for 23-2 but perhaps it's like the Fairford wish list.

Sometimes it nicer to be in the dark and see what support begins to arrive etc and do your own homework 😀

"Wheels over the Threshold" is a reliable indicator. Up to that point it's usually a cross between the results of Gelding & what comes outta the back-end of the patient! ;)

Cobra Warrior 23-2

Post by slogen51 » Sun May 21, 2023 11:46 am

Any news when Cobra Warrior 2023-2 is happening? I have heard August/September

Rumours of Norwegian F-35A and Indian MiG-29 ! Although the Indian MiG rumours may have been for CW24-1 ?

Starts either 4th or 11th September.

Neither of those two nations have been mentioned around these parts.
No exotics this time round is looking likely.

It appears all of the CW-23 discussion threads have ended up in the "Archived Airshows" Waddington section.

Just an observation, not a criticism, - but, maybe they might be better placed in the "Spotters Area" Waddington section to make life easier for anyone else looking for them.

Guys

Talking to the G550 pilot at Pratica Di Mare Italian Air Force 100th
He said that he would be at Cobra Warrior in Sept
So the Italians will be there

Also heard it's all European event

But as we know it could change

Belgian, Swedish and Dutch are all new rumours again.

If info is correct it won't be an all European event - fingers crossed!
