Saudi Hawks

Post by reaper493 » Mon Jun 26, 2023 8:19 pm

Have known about this for some time, but the wave group have posted it so it's out in the open now.

Saudi Hawks will arrive at Waddington early next week, along with a C-130. They will do some practices over Waddington and will also perform at Families day on the 8th July, along with the Reds, Typhoon and hopefully BBMF.

The wave plans to be open from 9.15 on families day.

The Saudis will then move to Fairford as one of the first arrivals on the Wednesday before the show.

A different coloured hawk to look at!

The WAVE has been open lately from 09.15 and closing any time between 3 and 4 Mon-Fri.
They only open at weekends if they have an event on, they've been granted permission to open on families day.

Possibly traffic regulations coming in to force for Families day.

Hoping to finally get some photo's of these flying! Their display at Fairford was cancelled on the Saturday of their last visit due to persistent rain/low cloud and they didn't fly the following week at the Waddington show because of pilot(s) being ill!

Heard they were due Tuesday but you would have thought the C-130s would have been noticed by now.
