XM607 moving for restoration work.

Post by reaper493 » Thu Jul 22, 2021 8:55 pm

With thanks to Johnny on the Wave group.
AVRO VULCAN XM607 LATEST NEWS!!!!
I can confirm Vulcan XM607 at RAF Waddington is on the move on Weds 28 July 2021!
Unfortunately The WAVE shall be closed until 11am on that day so we can do some changes in the shop.
However Vulcan XM607 shall be moving at 1330 hrs, so we shall be open to welcome you all to see her towed in front of the WAVE to the hangar for its restoration and preservation.
We shall have Marshalls in attendance to make sure there are no issues with parking and the A15.
If you arrive any earlier that 11am the police will move you on.
