Waddington 2/6/2021

Post by Ollie » Wed Jun 02, 2021 4:33 pm

Hello all,
I know RC-135s ZZ664 and ZZ665 are currently at Waddington. I made a pass tonight as 664 is the last one I need, but I can't distinguish which was which.

So, looking from the wave car park, would anyone please be able to tell me which RC is which please?

And, would anyone happen to know which shadow was outside as well as which E3 is in the hangar and which one is outside? I know it is a bit of an ask and I apologise for that!

Thank you,
Ollie.

Active shadows today have been ZZ504 and ZZ416, both of which are grey. 504 hasn't been on the ground since half ten, and is on approach now.
I think I've heard ZZ507 doing engine runs as well, which is in the white exec scheme.
So if it's white it'll be 507, grey it'll be 416.

As for the E3s, last time I went 102 was parked diagonal in the far corner of alpha, 107 was parked behind the Vulcan, and with 101/103 deployed it leaves 106 to be in the hangar.

Unsure about the RJs unfortunately.

Mike

Hi Mike,

Thank you very much for that. I'll try again today at Waddo and see if I can work out which RC is which, and hopefully 666 returns as well, that would be a nice bonus!

Thank you Mike,
Ollie.
