Hi all,
Can anyone advise the current status of the above Sentinel. Last I heard I believe it went to Hawarden for maint?
Cheers

Re: ZJ690?
Hi,
Here's what I have for the Sentinel fleet as last noted, only 91/94 are confirmed as accurate.
Zj690 1.7.19 last active at Waddington - not found any reports of it going to Hawarden.
Zj691 20.5.20 last active at Waddington.
Zj692 18.9.19 last reported at Waddington.
Zj693 3.12.16 last noted at Waddington (believe this is the withdrawn one).
Zj694 last active 28.4.20 at Waddington.
Be interested to confirm where 90/92 are. With the fleet retirement to be next year we may never see them again?
Lately there has only been one Sentinel sortie per week, normally towards the end of the week.
Mike

Re: ZJ690?
ZJ693 went to Hawarden on 23May17 and is still there AFAIK.
Re: ZJ690?
693 isn't listed on the UK military serials site, they normally have all of them, with the delivery dates etc.
Bit odd.

Re: ZJ690?
It has been outside for the odd ground run last couple of years, there are rumours that it will be upgraded and returned to service, time will tell.
Re: ZJ690?
Interesting, would have thought that was the one withdrawn.

It's just re-appeared on http://www.ukserials.com/ as it wasn't there an hour ago, I think they've been reading this thread!

Now you see it... touch of Paul Daniels methinks!
Re: ZJ690?
I posted earlier (or so I thought) that 690s last flight is showing on "Alberts Mode S site as 02 April 2020.
So I am unsure if the post was removed, or if it was my error.

Re: ZJ690?
I have it as ZJ694 that flew on the 2nd April from Waddington, although that was from ads, not eyeball.

Unless 690 flew from elsewhere of course.

Re: ZJ690?
Reaper,
It may well have been from somewhere else. But 690 definitely flew on 2 April 2020. So I hope that helps Charles022, as its much later than your July 2019 report.

Re: ZJ690?
I have ZJ690 arriving into Hawarden on 01st July 2019 and no record of it ever leaving, Are we definitely sure its back flying?
Likewise, I have ZJ693 still stored at Hawarden.

Re: ZJ690?
Didn't realise the OSD was so soon, looking at the link the situation is only going to mean more withdrawls over the next few months

As it was recorded at 39,000 feet and again on 12 February, maybe it was just fake news :-)Charles022 wrote: ↑Sun May 24, 2020 9:13 amAre we definitely sure its back flying?

Re: ZJ690?
Did you actually eyeball the aircraft flying on that date? I only ask as you state that it “definitely” flew.
Or are you basing your statement on a mode-s report?
