Anyone care to update on what occurred?

I departed the Wave at 1600 local....nothing unusual occurred up until that time, apart from a Jaguar on a low loader being transported into the Fire Training facility earlier in the day.

Now TWO NOTAMS out for today.

14.00-15.00 and 15.00-16.00, the earlier one was created today, so potentially the 2nd one should have been withdrawn?

I wouldn't suggest drones would be doing high energy manoeuvre?s, this is the same kind of NOTAM they issue for Leeming for when the FAC/JTAC's are directing the Hawks.

Presumably it was the Typhoon display that he (actually) did at Coningsby yesterday

Typhoon display Notams are different, and always have a ceiling of 12,000ft so unless it was a planned low show? My daughter goes to the school just outside the base and said she didn't hear anything, but she is only four.... 😂
