Viewing at weekend

Hi guys can I ask if I was to visit weekend would I see any of the visiting aircraft or are they in the hangars thanks Raptor22

Hi Raptor22

I went the first weekend they arrived and saw everything bar one GAF EF2000 that was hangared in the green building on their line.

The Israeli F15s are parked down at the Runway 02 Harmston end... all very visable from the A607... you can also see them from the crash gate but you cannot drive down there... you can walk down but security will come and check you out.

The Germans are parked over near the tower... they are all visable but there is a small green building that obscures two of the jets so you will need to park in the wave centre and then walk south along the A15 and keep checking Inbetween the trees.

The Italians are parked opposite the Helimed pad behind a wall and all tails are visable but again if you walk far enough South along the A15 and keep checking across though the trees and gaps you will see them.

Yes through the wire, security isn’t happy if you try and go right at the gate, left is OK.

Tiger1 wow thank you so so very much just got home from a fantastic visit got all German and Italian tiffys and then followed your directions down the lane had a couple of base security drive past weren't interested in us and my god what great pics we have of the Israeli f15s I can say how much we appreciate your help and that of every one else who have posted so much information a massive thank you to all Raptor22

I am very pleased you guys had a great time and got what you needed... I thank you very much for your knid words but cannot take all the credit... as you say... thanks to everyone else who have posted info.

It is after all, everyones ones help with posts of info, advise and help that as enabled guys like you and I to have all the info we needed in order to have a great day out.

I had a great day when I was there on the 9th...sadly I picked the raining day but thanks to all the guys on FC... I had all the info I needed... location of jets, flying times... frequencies etc... to ensure a great day out was had.

I must say also... the guys at the WAVE did a fantastic job from parking directions and advice to the guys in the cafe... the coffee and bacon butty's kept us going.
