So who's going to tell them that it's an exercise, not an excercise.

Have the Germans and Italians stated what they’re bringing; is it just Typhoon or Tornado as well?

Well, that doesn't bode well if that's correct.

I'd find it very unlikely the other F-15s would make the crossing without a tanker.

The B707 that was coming was one of the ELINT ones, not one of the tankers.

The tweet below from the EGXWinfoGroup twitter account clarified the early post on their blog about the possible inclusion of the ELINT B707 Israeli operate. Looks likely the B707 variation got mixed up, they indicate that tankers supports expected http://www.egxwinfogroup.co.uk/?p=3404
Ex Cobra Warrior updated, apparently I got a little excited about the B707 based support platform and identified it incorrectly! They have 9 707 based tanker/trans aircraft which I missed, it’s more likely to be one of these than their single AWAC variant! http://egxwinfogroup.co.uk/?p=3404

If it was just 'Typhoon Warrior' the remaining seven F-15 C/D would have to cancel too? All too often jest becomes reality! ;)

Not looking good, last years cobra warrior was brilliant especially with all the close up tornado action at coningsby.
This year with it transferring to Waddington, all the restrictions in place & possible Israeli cancellation!
At the start of the year it was going to be the ultimate exercise, rather than a typhoon fest.

That is the name of the Elint system, the aircraft should have been 4X-JYS / 246.
