I think most have overlooked the additional problems that will be caused if protesters from the likes of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, and the Campaign Against Arms Trade attend, who started complaining about the exercise back in January.
P.
Not forgetting the People’s Front of Judea and the Campaign for a Free Galilee

For all those booking leave/hotels etc, don't forget that if the exercise runs as per previous years then flying will be limited to Mon, Wed and Fri mornings only. There has occasionally been some movements outside of this period but this has been very hit and miss and usually only involved one or two aircraft (instead of the various waves that participate in the actual exercise). Just something to bear in mind, especially as this limits the opportunities for seeing some activity, even though the exercise is on for 3 weeks.
You are correct in those were the exercise days but last year the Germans flew up to 4 Tornados and 4 Typhoons in the mornings on NON-exercise days with 4 More Typhoons only going out again PM.

Not sure what the Italains done at Waddo mind.

I think the ban on ladders on the airfield side of the A15 is correct. Can there be anybody that hasn't seen the guy jumping of his ladder before getting his face tyre-striped by a Typhoon or the notoriously low Turkish F-16 landing at Waddington?
The amazing number of idiots under the approach beggars belief! :grr: Something had to be done to prevent this & overkill is the 'normal' response. Man-vs-Jet is a predictable result & has to be addressed by the responsible parties.

From RAF Waddingtons Twitter Feed.

"There is a rumour circulating that we are introducing a charge for using the Wave viewing area car park. This is not true. The Wave is free for anyone to use within its opening hours, although we may have to introduce restrictions if the area gets too busy to help ensure everyone’s safety. Please can all visitors abide by any instructions given by RAF Duty Personnel and the Civilian Police so all visitors can have an enjoyable visit."

They’ve changed their minds in case it rains and they get hit with all the lawsuits from people that paid but didn’t get any decent shots.

The team who have tweeted are nothing to do with the Liason team who have been speaking to the WAVE and agreed the entrance cost.

Looks like left hand isn't telling the right hand what its doing.

The WAVE have removed all cobra warrior posts due the negativity on their facebook group, they will post info and guidance as and when it is confirmed.

Sounds like your trying to get some bad press for a location that helps out spotters, who's side are you even on?!?

That location was made for spotters to park safe and free whilst enjoying the hobby, nearly everyother base has a viewing area and ìve never known one that charges people to view an excercise

Why Waddingtons?
