Hi all

Two quick questions.

Given the show is now full for pay on the gate, can anyone confirm please that all six EC120s of the 'Patrulla Aspa' can bee seen on the ground from the P&V area (or the A15 if necessary)?

Secondly, to help plan an arrival time tomorrow, does anyone know what time the Turkish A400 is due to depart please?

Any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks.

Kind regards, C

The Spanish choppers can't be seen from the PAVE and I didn't notice them from the A15 on my way back to Sleaford. The F18s and F16s are down the Harmston end too.
The A400 is supposed to be leaving before 10am but that's only rumour

Cheers

Adrian

According to another forum Turk F-16 used flares today!!!
Yes Flares was used today by Solo Turk and excellent display that was, I am questioning the fact that I thought flares were not allowed?

We nearly all got caught by surprise with this one but I was lucky my finger was on the button for the first release of flares ;) The 2nd Turk display with the spare jet was the medium to Low level display practice, so no flares were used.

Any reason for the flare rule to change because I think they have stored them away from other display aircraft to allow it to be armed?

Chris,

Having driven round Waddington this evening, I eventually found that the Spanish are on the lazy runway and are visible from the end of the small track off the road from the A15 to Harmston. If you walk 50 yards West of that gate (CG 5) you can see them from between the dispersed E-3s, across the main runway.

Hi folks I am missing a frequency, I'm only getting most things once they handover to tower, I have all the normal frequencies for Waddington so it's one they have for the airshow or that hardly ever gets used.

So far only condor flight have used it before handing over to tower for the approach on 121.3, I suspect it's a UHF frequency but I could be wrong.

Two aircraft coming from the NE crossing the coast and descending fast. Look to be heading straight for Waddo

Look like Saabs
