8819 was at RIAT in 2011 as 8811.

8820 is the only goodie for me so I'll bag that at Fairford.

Regards

The missing jet is 8821 - confirmed from Photos - was the 5th jet to land. I was moving up the road and didn't get a side on.

The jets are parked on bays 1-6, which used to be called Alpha where the E3s used to live but is now home to the Reds.
They've parked them dead centre on the taxyway, looks like they will be left out the whole time.

Herc is parked on Bay 10, near the WAVE.

Nothing, apart from the fact that when 8811 was at RIAT in 2011 it was 6Y013 and then re-serialled to 8819 sometime between then and when it was checked at the Maltese Airshow in 2017.

8811 is 6Y014 which used to be 8812.

Flying is between 12 and 2. Sounds like it's going to be busy.

7 Saudis on the line today - couldn't read them all, but they appeared to be parked in Landing order so 8821 presumed to be the missing one.

1622 sat on bay 10 looking nice and you drive down the A15

It actually makes me quite angry that this display is happening "behind closed doors". Traffic will grind to a halt and the entire area will be covered in spotters. There is so much untapped demand for airshows and I just don't understand why there is effectively only one major military airshow in the UK these days!

I have 8811 as c/n 6Y014 when it was a Fairford in 2011, but I may have got this info from Scramble more recentlyy. Given that the aircraft can switch between squadrons and hence switch serials, I hope someone at Fairford can get close enough to positively read off all the c/ns.
