Planning on coming up Thursday 16th (2nd week) where is the best place for viewing, is the main airfield viewing area still open down the road from the wave? Hopefully take off from that side

Are we expecting runway 02 or 20 departures tomorrow? I'm not great at the whole wind thing.
generally speaking the winds will be from the north so 02 id suggest.............cheers
Forecast is showing winds from the south west, becoming more westerly in the afternoon. If this is correct 20 will be in use.

I'm thinking of heading to the lake District tomorrow as a change from the loop. I know it's hard to predict etc, am i likely to see any CW participants low level in the lakes tomorrow? It's a 3.5hr+ drive for me.

Many thanks Dylan

Hard to tell. They used the Lakes last Friday but not been back since. May get some Eagles, 35s or Typhoons

Thanks for the reply James.

It's really hard to know what to do. Is it worth the 3.5hrs drive and see nothing or stay at home in the loop. Would it make a difference if it's an exercise day or not? I'm just seeing the weather looks really nice tomorrow and not so great rest of the week.

Cheers Dyl

Based on the weather forecast for tomorrow, is it likely any flying tomorrow maybe postponed? I would have a 3 hour drive and the weather looks very dubious, any thoughts gratefully received.

I’d say myself tomorrow is a no go, the Belgians didn’t even fly this afternoon. Only RAF Typhoons & Finnish F-18’s. I would not be suprised if it was a maintenance day, especially as 2 mirages are now tech I believe?

I asked one of the Belgians flogging tat on Wednesday and he said their final day was the 17th, due to commitments in Europe.

Are there any planned catch up exercise days to make up for the lost day on Friday?

Not really a lost day on Friday... everyone flew once... 4 x F18s were up first then the 4 x F16s and lastly the 4 M2000s.

A simple but practical question, are there toilets in the Wave?
