Are the saudi typhoons parked where 29 sqdn park. And can they be seen from the bbmf parking area?
think they have been moved to foxtrot dispersal which is where 3sqn are.

Sorry to ask a dumb question, does this mean they will be hidden away when not active or are they on the ramp at all times on Foxtrot?

Just spent an hour looking for the Saudi’s and can’t see them anywhere outside so assume the report yesterday of them going into shelters is correct.

Hi James,

Sorry I’m not a local so squadron areas or parking stands mean nothing to me.

I checked all nooks and crannies and could only find RAF Typhoons in amongst the shelters.

as you stand at the viewing area, the first set of shelters closest to you is where 3sqn live. 6 jets were outside on their dispersal this morning. maybe they have been put away since

As I said I’m not a local but other spotters also couldn’t find them so as I said I can only assume they’re hangared. I’d be happy to be proven wrong as I need two of them.

The 6 typhoons were no longer on foxtrot when i left work so it does look like they have been put away.

6 typhoons all parked on VAS (between 3sqn and 11sqn). couldn't see if they are the Saudi jets but logic would say they are as the squadrons never park there.
