Is there sufficient car parking at the WAVE or is it all gone when gates open? Likely to find any spaces at 8:30-9:00am?

I got to the WAVE at 8.35am today and I noticed that the gate was closed to new arrivals less than five minutes later. However lots of cars were already parked on the old dispersal at the fire training centre - I've no idea how easy that was, or whether people were behaving themselves! I was at the WAVE all day and consequently very grateful for the toilets, so many thanks to whoever organised them. Oh, and I've never seen so many aluminium ladders in my life! Seemed much busier than last year.

Anglian Water and their work is a known, we all know about it. Your use of words "tourists" "numpties" "civvies" all reek of a condescending attitude.

Factual evidence, you asked for it! :D
Factual evidence that I may in fact have remarkable foresight..

Utter stupidity, recklessness and disregard for laws and safety. Should have been charged and car impounded. Did no-one take issue with said idiot?

No - funnily enough the 'smart car man' and the 'Ford 4x4 man' stayed in the WAVE and did not conduct their usual patrols. The police presence has dropped off substantially as well - someone even said a police car drove past this car and didn't move it on.
