I'm afraid to disagree but Turkish AF always use TUAF or TURAF and not HVK on their flight plans and that is indead what they are using.

Any idea where the Spanish helicopters disappeared to?

Possibly night stopping on route?

Also any sign of the P8 or is it routing directly from the US? Assorted rumours here at Waddington.

I agree that that's what they are using, but not what they should be using :P

The rumours came out today that the Spanish helicopter display team were due today at 1pm, I think this comes from their twitter stream and they seemed to have their days mixed up for some reason. They specificly told us a few weeks ago they would arrive around 1300 on the Thursday so that's what was put on the 100% unofficial arrivals due list. I believe they have since corrected their error of arriving today on their twitter account. So I would say they are due tomorrow around 1.

Given that the flight time from St Johns is only about five hours, it will be here a bit earlier than that.....

If 167955 of VX-1 is the P-8A Poseidon heading for Waddington it should be there at about 2200 this evening. This is based on the flight time for the Air Canada A319 service into Heathrow from St Johns which is five hours (apologies for using a civilian flight for comparison purposes).

Presumably the Turkish Navy CN235 TCB-653 did not leave Aviano, another one for tomorrow.

For anyone wishing to follow its progress, it is showing on FR24 with the call sign MARTI1, currently admiring the ski slopes of Garmisch Partenkirchen at FL180.

Edit:- It is just to the West of Frankfurt maintaining FL180 at 190 knots. Would think it will be in Waddington area in about 90 minutes.
