Have herd between 12 and 2 this afternoon.There should be a C17 inbound before they arrive and one due after they arrive as well. :unsure: :unsure: :unsure:

Got a Dover C17 on PP calling T-BIRD 14,could b the first support C17 inbound to Waddo. :thumb:

So why did they land from RW20 and not RW02? Was is purely to keep the crowds happy at the WAVE as there was a marginal wind effect?

There was mention on the scanner of the the ILS system not working on the 02 runway. Not sure if that's the full reason why they used runway 20 instead.

There is a NOTAM about the TACAN/ ILS system not working but it doesn't mention which runway etc
