There was talk of Tutor and Falcons as well but they are not on the flyer doing the rounds.

3hr window for displays at the moment.

Is there a rough time for the 3hr window for the displays?

1130-1430 - Reds are between 1130-1215.

Worth reading the thread on the WAVE for the arrangements for the day if you plan on going.

A message from the Station Commander:

This Saturday is our Station Friends and Families Day. We hold this event once a year to recognise and thank every single person who support our people and our families here at RAF Waddington.

We constantly rely on the support from our friends and family, and therefore I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their unwavering support.

I also appreciate that we have a significant impact outside the wire, for example road closures and speed restrictions, so I would also like to pay thanks to the local community who support us and put up with the disruption that can result from our activities.

I would also like to thank the loyal community of aircraft enthusiasts and spotters. I want to express my sincere appreciation for your unwavering interest in our activities. Your passion and dedication do not go unnoticed. In an ideal scenario, I would love to invite you to our station to experience the day first-hand. However, this is not possible.

Regrettably, the opportunity to observe this closed military event from outside will be severely limited. Therefore, I strongly recommend that if you are planning on attending to view the aerobatic display, that you do so from the only safe viewing point, the WAVE aircraft viewing platform. In the interest of safety for the event, if we observe people viewing from the fence line, we will consider stopping all air activity.

Thank you for your understanding, and please stay connected with us virtually as we continue to serve our mission.

Best regards,

Group Captain Dutch Holland
Station Commander
RAF Waddington

Thanks for posting this message.
I'm not sure that I follow the logic about standing on the fence-line but...
about 10 days ago the Reds overflew our housing estate at , lets say 500' and they overfly the FRIAT grandstand to open the show.

A400s regularly pass low over the A1 on approach to RAF Wittering.
Is the A15 to be closed for the display period?
I could go on... & on.
Puzzled but hoping that some people enjoy the flying.
