Visit for Cobra Warrior

Post by Mike89 » Sun Mar 19, 2023 4:27 pm

Hi
I am considering travelling down on Tuesday from the North West, Could any regulars help with what times to arrive at Waddington and Coningsby to see the stuff before it departs ? If I do miss departures is there an approximate time till they usually return ? Also thinking of Barkston Heath and Cranwell. I believe its best to get to these around 8

Thanks
Mike

Once you've made 5 posts on the forum, you'll be able to access the Cobra Warrior section, which has daily movements threads for the exercise so far, showing when the movements have happened each day.

On Friday at Waddington, the Finns were starting to taxi out by 0955, the final two Belgians around 1000 and two Mirages by 1005. The other four Belgians had departed shortly before these movements began.

First Indians returned at 1050, Finns at 1105.

Second wave saw Indians taxiing out at 1535, Finns around 1540.

Finns returned at 1700, Indians at 1710.

(All times given are approximate, to nearest 5 minutes, with return times listed being the time of first visual of the formation by myself from near the WAVE.)

Hope this helps.
