Been advised the Indian IL78 and 5 x Mirages are still in Greece and should be departing in the next 15 mins. This would put their arrival between 1345 - 1400pm into Waddington if they get airborne.

Subject to the usual disclaimers

Talk of some familiarisation flights Friday.

No idea on who or when or if true. The Saudis flew from Coningsby today so it sounds likely.

But flight checker is in the area so there could be breaks in proceedings for him.

And there's an image of an Indian Cobra Warrior Patch going round the internet too

Hello, to which squadron do the Indian Mirage 2000 belong? 1st or 7th?
Thank you and greetings

Despite the WAVE saying no dogs or large vans, there is currently two dogs and one large van in the car park.

Bit harsh Mike ... remember, there is a mute button on most devices as well as an off button too. Some people actually enjoy watching (even for the comedy factor only).

Is 1100am the earliest departure time for the Indian Il-78 that people have heard? I'll probably come up tomorrow, but don't want to miss it.

Just wondering what ladder/steps etiquette there is at Waddington. Last time out for me it was steps/ladders over the road from the base and your legs only on the base side of the road.

Are we expecting runway 02 or 20 departures tomorrow? I'm not great at the whole wind thing.
