Covers still on nose of the aircraft, nothing on the cockpits. No sign of movement.

The only positive at the moment is that the caravan is still at the end of the runway.

Atis saying vis 3000m cloud at 1200m.

Think that's it for today apart from the RJ retuning

Blue sky on the horizon now, but is it going to be too late?

Edit: a few people around the jets in hi-viz at the minute

I did post this earlier but it either didn't go on or was deleted by someone?

Poor signal most likely. Very disappointing way to end the day, especially as the sun came out and lovely blue skies as they were wrapping up for the day.

Rumours of a mid morning validation at Duxford floating around.

Didn't think they could validate in front of public, so not sure if that's accurate.

Yes, an IWM staff member told me that yesterday at Duxford. I don't think that is a problem, because they were scheduled at 1520 yesterday when the airfield was open to the public.

I hope that it's true, because I have arrived early at Duxford!

Have heard 11am take off time - which might have just been confirmed by someone eating breakfast at the same restaurant as them

10am doesn't seem possible based on that.

Gates open at 10.00, so if that's true, we will get 2 displays from them today!

The weather here is gorgeous, with all the photographic challenges that presents!
