Post by jamesg23 » Sun Apr 07, 2013 5:55 pm

I was driving past barkston heath today and noticed that the was a hunter with its tail missing parked outside the large hangar. Does anyone have any info on this jet? Many thanks.

It is Hunter F.6A XE606 (ex-Cottesmore) & has been repainted in 8 Sqn markings as "XE620" in readiness for display outside 8 Sqn's HQ at Waddington.
Believe it is due to be transported there sometime soon.
