Phenom ZM334
Phenom ZM334
Just seen on G-INFO that ZM334 was registered as G-MEPS on 05/02/2021. Not sure of the reason why.

Don't believe it's flown since mid September.

Re: Phenom ZM334
Whilst on the subject, ZM333 hasn't been noted since about October. Is this on maintenance or perhaps will go the same way as 334 ? Any knowledge out there on 333 ? Thank you
Re: Phenom ZM334
PlanePlotter has 333s last flight recorded as "CWL44" on 16 October.

Re: Phenom ZM334
bear in mind that ZM334 was originally G-MEPS with Affinity back in 2017 before hand over to RAF - G-MEPS(2) also with Affinity. I wonder if it might be some upgrade or paperwork exercise to keep the aircraft to "civil standards" and will in due course revert to ZM334.
Time will tell.

Re: Phenom ZM334
Has anybody MK1 eyeball to say if the aircraft is marked G-MEPS, could simply be the the transponder pinging the civil reg ?

Heading to EMBRAER facility at Fort Lauderdale for servicing. Civvie reg for ease of transit since it's not technically a state aircraft.

Re: Phenom ZM334
Regarding the last comment about heading to the US for servicing or maintenance, unless I'm missing something, I wouldn't say that's a good use of taxpayers money. I realise that they are on a contract, but surely on economic grounds, this task could have been performed at one of the UK locations?

Re: Phenom ZM334
Surely it has nothing to with taxpayer's money? The aircraft is not owned by the RAF.
Re: Phenom ZM334
Back on to the subject of Phenom ZM333 & answering my own question, '333 was showing today (27/04) on ADSB on the ground with "ENG" as the c/s. so presumably has been on maintenance with Engineering these past few months. So hopefully back active again soon.
