Hi
Posted a similar question on the Waddington section. I am curious as to what times departures have been generally ? Planning on a drive from north west on Tuesday
Thanks

Only CW visitors here are Saudi Typhoons, the main visiting aircraft action is all happening over at Waddington really.

Last couple of weeks has been initial departures around 0900 onwards, usually a flurry of returns around lunchtime with further departures after lunch.

The based Typhoons are usually pretty steady, you might see a practice display some days as the 2023 routine is being worked up. There’s also the potential for BBMF movements as well of course, and the occasional visitors.

Thinking of going over on weds the wind is from the South west. Would this mean they would taking off from runway 7?

No they'd take off into wind so runway 25 most likely if SW wind.

I saw photos on Facebook the Saudi Typhoons are visible from outside. They have been moved to the other side.

Hi Hornet69

Thanks for the info... Is that to the 29sqn main ramp where the sun sheds are?

Will they still be there tomorrow... might just be in the area mid morning.
