There's no "go-round" in a glider.

There goes one of the 9sqn Black jets....
Re: Typhoon Display Jet
Now that it seems the early Typhoons will be retired early (again) I wonder if any more Aircraft will be painted in that scheme, or if the plans have been quietly dropped?

Re: Typhoon Display Jet
I really like it a bit of colour makes a real change. It has to be eye catching and the underside and top look great.
Re: Typhoon Display Jet
The idea has been dropped. Mainly because 914 looked so bad and top brass didnt like it.

I think that it is a crackingly splendid scheme with a touch of arrogance (Great B?).
A fly past Foto of it being refuelled by the UK tanker would be rather good
I look forward to F…..g u. Fotos of it myself (a.k.a Smugger)
The black jet also looks impressive

Re: Typhoon Display Jet
I think it looks hideous, as if the new colour scheme has been coddled together in a hurry. "Boris 2" to go with the "Boris 1" holiday jet.
Re: Typhoon Display Jet
its true, its no GINA but again, like it or loath it, its arguably better than nothing. I honestly do believe we needed to do something. its embarrassing being the only display team with pain jet at airshows. take the 100th anniversary season for eg, it was embarrassing. even foreign airforces made the effort to celebrate the uk 100 year anniversary, and frankly out shone us by miles. as mentioned in a previous post, i like it, although im kind of sick of seeing it on social media already
roll on midlands air fest..i need my airshow fix...
