Re: LOG: Coningsby 05/08/20
Two mispoles on my log due heat haze.
Typhoon 378 in 41SQ marks probably 376. The aircraft in question departed with 375 after 1500. Anybody confirm?
Typhoon 342 in the South 3Sq HAS area, 942 was parked and confirmed, this one went off with 323 and others around 1615. 342 was supposed to be in Akrotiri on Shader, again anybody confirm?

Re: LOG: Coningsby 05/08/20
376 was in 41 marks the week before. Mispole as 378 by someone else but I have a photo of it.
Niall up at Lossie says 378 is in 2sqn marks based there.

Brian, not sure if you are a regular visitor, but you can see 2 Lightnings. One is behined the barns, XS897 marked as XP765. And if you drive down to 11Sqn they have another preserved in a carpark, this is XR753.
Re: LOG: Coningsby 05/08/20
Thanks Neil and Colt for the info.
I am a reasonably regular visitor and i have seen the lightnings, glad they are still preserved, remember them well from visits to Binbrook a long time ago.
I have seen 376 and 342 before so was just making sure the log was correct. These were the only ones that i knew were dodgy.

Re: LOG: Coningsby 05/08/20
In regards to ZK342, on Thursday 30th July I believe either 2 or 3 Typhoons had returned to Cby from Cyprus. ZK342 was plotting on 360 radar as RRR9802 coming back that day, Also 3 Jets has departed Lossie earlier on that week heading to Cyprus. Maybe explaining the reappearance of ZK342
