The mound has been lowered in height and made wider.

There's currently not many viewing areas left at coningsby at the moment with the work that's been going on..I see he field at the bottom of runway 25 is no longer accessible to cars either.i don't understand why he mound would be lowered. If it ain't broke and all that....

Perhaps that's because it's the farmer's land Daz. He can do as he wishes with it, doesn't need anyone's permission. He could even put a padlocked gate across the entrance if he wanted to.

Well Coningsby Spotters Page didn't let me down

It's now a "bun fight" on Ladders under the Approach

Almost as good as the "Parking Saga"

Perhaps in this Snowflake PC World, it could be "An earthwork structure, which identifies as a feature previously known as The Mound"
